Edward
C. Zacharewicz presents "Decay Art". Preferring palette and putty
knives to traditional brushes, Mr. Zacharewicz's work has a textured
and decayed quality that has been gaining attention in the art
community. Primarily self-taught, Edward C. Zacharewicz studied briefly
with renowned artist and professor, Mel Leipzig. Mr. Zacharewicz has
shown his pieces throughout the tri-state area, and his work hangs in
various collections, including that of Rachel Fine (singer and actress)
and Kayvon Zand (musician). Among his achievements in the past year,
Mr. Zacharewicz's work has been:
- Displayed at the 29th Ellarslie Open, 2011; "Red Sky"
- Featured on the blog, Planet Paul by Paul Gallagher
- Designated official artist for The Jam for Life Foundation
- Included in charity events including The New Jersey Sharing
Network, the annual ICNY Gala held in New York City, and The Jam for
Life Foundation
- Commissioned to produce album cover art for the recently released Honey Spot Blvd CD

Edward is always looking ahead towards new ideas
